Sask. Landing Walleye Fishing Tournament
 
The Sask. Landing Walleye Tournament is an annual event that was started in 1992 by group of volunteers. It was taken over by the Kyle Kinsmen Club and then turned over to the Kyle and District Recreation Board and Kyle Elks Lodge in 2006. The Tournament takes place at the Saskatchewan Landing which is located on Lake Diefenbaker. 2011 Entry Form coming soon, visit our website:

Kyle Community Rodeo
 
Kyle Community Rodeo will be celebrating it's 35th anniversary in 2011. The rodeo has been a steady fixture in the Town of Kyle and will continue to be the focal point of all events put on by the Rec. Board. The weekend includes all rodeo events as well as a Slack and slo-pitch tournament. Additionally we will be hosting a Ranch Horse competition.

That Kritical Stage
 
That Kritical Stage presents.... And The Winner Is... a hilarious comedy by Kerrobert,SK. playwright Shauna Meek. This is as close to a musical that "That Kritical Stage" will probably ever perform. It's a must see production. So keep the following dates in mind. Thursday April 26, 2012 - General Admission, Friday April 27, 2012 - Pub Night and Saturday April 28, 2012 - Dinner Theatre. Tickets will be on sale at the TD Canada Trust ( Kyle), Prairie Center Credit Union ( Kyle), Town of Kyle Office, and at the Kyle and District Recreation board by mid March, check back with us for more information.

$1000 Dinner and Dance
 
The $1000 Dinner and Dance is a fundraising event that is presented by all community clubs within the Town of Kyle and District. Local groups donate money to be handed out as prize money to ticket purchasers. Total prize money handed out is $10000. All other money raised during the evenings supper and dance is allocated by percentages to the Facilities Fund, Kyle Museum, Kyle Elks Community Hall and Kyle Library. The Facilities Fund is used for purchasing capital items to keep the Sports Centre and other recreation facilities in top shape.
